आदित्य बिरला कैपिटल लिमिटेड ने सुश्री विशाखा मुले को नया मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी नियुक्त किया

Aditya Birla Capital Ltd (ABCL) appointed Ms.Vishakha Mulye as the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors of the company.

Her name for the post was recommended by the Nomination, Remuneration and Compensation Committee. Her appointment will come into effect on June 1, 2022. She will be the first female to join the board of Aditya Birla Management Corporation. She is a Chartered Accountant by qualification. 

Ms.Mulye replaces Mr.Ajay Srinivasan - the present MD & CEO of ABCL., who is taking up other responsibilities within the group. To ensure a smooth transition of leadership, she will work with Mr.Srinivasan for a month (known as ‘overlap period’).

Currently, she is working as the Executive Director of ICICI Bank. At ICICI Bank, she is in charge of domestic and international wholesale banking, proprietary trading, markets and transaction banking. She held many significant roles in her 30-year experience, led several strategic initiatives and worked with the insurance as well private capital arm of the ICICI group. She led the team that planned and executed the merger of ICICI Limited and ICICI Bank in 2002, which transformed ICICI from a Public Financial Institution to the largest private sector Bank.
