PM Narendra Modi Laid the Foundation Stone of 1,406 Projects Worth more than 80,000 Crore Rupees

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of 1,406 projects worth more than 80,000 crore rupees during the third UP Investors' Summit in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The summit was held at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow.

The event is being attended by leading Indian industrialists like Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Sajjan Jindal, and Anant Ambani.

Prime Minister inaugurated the projects related to various fields like Agriculture and Allied, IT and Electronics, MSME, Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Pharma, Tourism, Defence & Aerospace, Handloom and Textiles. Out of the total projects, about 800 projects were related to the MSME sector and 275 projects belonged to the agriculture and allied industries sector.

The projects opened new avenues for employment and going to benefit the youth of the state most. 

Seven new data centres in the state will be funded by Rs 19,928 crore alongside 13 infrastructure projects that cost Rs 6,632 crore. Other projects include six in the education sector worth Rs 1,183 crore, seven dairy-related projects worth Rs 489 crore, and six projects for animal husbandry worth Rs 224 crore.

In addition to this, one of Asia’s richest men Gautam Adani’s Adani group will invest Rs 70,000 crore in UP, resulting in the creation of 30,000 jobs in the state.
