The IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) newly introduced ‘Hall of Fame’ to honor their players, for their contribution to the team. RCB team’s legendary batsmen AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle were inducted into the RCB’s newly introduced “Hall of Fame” during an event held recently.
AB de Villiers (South Africa) and Chris Gayle (West Indies) have become the first two players to be inducted into the RCB’s Hall of the fame. Batsman Chris Gayle was with the franchise for six years and AB de Villiers was an integral part of the team for 10 years from 2011 to 2021.
The players joined the event through video conferencing and were duly honored for their outstanding contributions over the years. The announcement was made by the former RCB skipper Virat Kohli during the event.
