National Stock Exchange of India Ltd (NSE) wholly-owned subsidiary - NSE Academy Ltd (NAL) - partnered with HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd (HDFC AMC) by signing an agreement. This new initiative is expected to be rolled out May-June of this year.
The agreement was signed to launch ‘Invest-verse: An Introduction to the World of Investing’, a first-of-its-kind programme for college students across India. The programme is also available on HDFC Mutual Fund’s MFBytes application.
It will be offered to college students across India to inculcate the habit of investment, which has a significant impact on investors’ wealth creation in the long run and consequently, the importance of financial awareness among youth cannot be emphasized enough.
The programmes will be delivered through online and application-based training. The certificates will be provided by both the institutions - NAL and HDFC AMC.
It is a nine-hour course programme which will help to reach the next wave of first-time investors. Through this course, both institutions aim to reach a large number of students and give them access to basic financial knowledge so that they make wise financial decisions.
