A new portal for ‘Sambal Yojana 2.0’ was launched by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh to help low-income families under the Sambal scheme.
Through this platform, the government will distribute ex-gratia assistance of Rs 551 crores 16 lakhs to 25 thousand 982 laborers’ families and Rs 22 crores 23 lakhs to 1036 families of construction workers under the Sambal Yojana with a single click.
Sambal 2.0 scheme is an updated version of Sambal Yojana being started to benefit more beneficiaries under the scheme. The new scheme was redesigned with a provision to apply on MP online or from public service centers and to give the information of the application on the mobile of the worker through SMS or WhatsApp. In this scheme, workers who were earlier declared ineligible will also be able to apply afresh.
Under this scheme, the tendu patta pluckers of the state will also be included in the category of unorganized workers.
Women laborers are given Rs 16 thousand as maternity assistance, while free education is also being provided to the children of these laborers.

Anugrah Sahayata Yojana is a very important scheme for lakhs of workers working in the unorganized sector in the state, in which the worker gets financial assistance from birth to death.
