Indian Entrepreneur Mr.Gautam Adani, Chief of Adani Group Moved to the 5th Position in the Forbe’s Rich List

Indian entrepreneur Mr.Gautam Adani, Chief of Adani Group moved to the 5th position in the Forbe’s rich list with a total net worth of $122.3 billion. He replaced Mr.Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathway. Adani was surpassed Mr.Buffett by having almost $1 billion higher than Buffett's $121.7 billion.

Earlier this month, Mr.Adani entered the $100 billion wealth club and became the richest person of Asia.

As per the Forbe’s rich list, the top richest persons were - Elon Musk ($269.7 billion - CEO of Tesla), Jeff Bezos ($170.2 billion - Founder of Amazon), Bernard Arnault ($167.9 billion - CEO of Louis Vuitton), Bill Gates ($130.2 billion - Founder of Microsoft), Gautam Adani ($122.3 billion - Chairman of Adani Groups).

As per the data from the latest Hurun rich list, with $49 billion Mr.Adani added the most wealth in 2021 - i.e. he became the world's biggest wealth gainer.

In India, Mr.Adani was followed by Mr.Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of the Reliance Industries Ltd who has wealth of $104.7 billion.

Recently, Forbes magazine released 36th edition of Annual Billionaries list 2022 which has 2,668 billionaires with the total worth $12.7 trillion across the world. The countries - Barbados, Bulgaria, Estonia and Uruguay each gained their first billionaires ever.
