Mr. L V Vaidyanathan, the head of Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) Indonesian business was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for Indian operation which is effective from July 1. Vaidyanathan will take over from Madhusudan Gopalan, who will take on a leadership role i.e. Vice-President. Currently, he is serving as the CEO of P&G business in Indonesia where he has been responsible for industry-leading growth and value creation for the company.
Vaidyanathan is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad who started his journey with P&G in 1995 as an intern and joined the India sales team straight from campus in 1996. He worked in India and ASEAN countries including Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
The P&G would be a market leader in most of the segments it operates in like baby diapers, blades & razors, feminine care, shave prep, health care and anti-aging skincare. The company is delivering strong balanced growth while prioritizing the health and well-being of P&G people.
