First Indian Pacer to Take 150 Wickets in IPL


  • In the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Veteran cricketer Bhuvneshwar Kumar became the first Indian pacer to take 150 wickets.
  • The pacer who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad achieved this milestone against Punjab Kings (PBKS) by taking the wicket of Liam Livingstone of PBKS.
  • The other four Indians who achieved this milestone are Spinners - Amit Mishra, Piyush Chawla, Harbhajan Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal.
  • In the IPL history, Dwayne Bravo leads the wicket-taking charts with 177 wickets followed by Lasith Malinga.
  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar is followed by Jasprit Bumrah with 134 wickets.
  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar holds other records for bowling most dot balls and also secured third on the list of most maidens (9 overs).
