● The 36th edition of the ‘Annual World’s Billionaires List-2022’ was released by Forbes which found 2,668 billionaires across the planet Earth.
● The total worth of 2,668 billionaires is $12.7 trillion which is down from a record $13.1 trillion on the 2021 list.
● As per the list, Elon Musk (co-founder and CEO of Tesla) is the richest person in the world with an estimated worth of $219 billion.
● He was followed by Jeff Bezos (Founder of Amazon), Bernard Arnault, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett.
● The countries which get their first billionaires ever are Barbados, Bulgaria, Estonia, and Uruguay.
● Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries became the wealthiest Indian on the list with a net worth of $90.7 billion.
● Mr.Ambani was followed by Gautam Adani (Chairman of Adani Ports), and Shiv Nadar (Chairman of HCL Technologies). These people are the top three on Forbes India Rich List 2022.
