A digital platform ‘Fast and Secured Transmission of Electronic Records’ (FASTER) was launched by the Chief Justice of India.
The platform was developed by the Registry of the Supreme Court in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre.
The platform was launched with an aim to communicate interim orders, stay orders, bail orders etc., of the Supreme Court through a secured electronic communication channel.
Through this, the apex court will transmit the Record of Proceedings or Orders to the concerned Nodal Officers and duty holders through e-mail. For this, 1887 e-mail IDs were created for this system across the country.
