Rs. 100 crore was approved for the ‘One-Time benefit scheme’ for anganwadi workers, mini Anganwadi workers and helpers in the state.
It was approved by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Uddhav Thackeray.
The funds under the scheme will be distributed through Life Insurance Corporation (LIC).
The funds will reach the workers in case of retirement, resignation, dismissal, or death.
