24-year-old World champion Max Verstappen accomplished victory at the Emilia Romagna Formula one Grand Prix. He won the race for the 2nd straight year. After Saudi Arabia, it was Verstappen’s second win in this season and the 22nd win of his career. In this event, Verstappen has achieved 22 victories and 14 pole positions.

He came home more than 16 seconds ahead of his teammate as Charles Leclerc and Ferrari endured a disappointing day in front of passionate home support at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

Leclerc, who started second on the grid, finished sixth after making a poor start. Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton finished 14th in the race.
