Nuclear Capable Brahmos Missile

● The surface to surface BrahMos supersonic cruise missile was successfully test fired by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
● It is a Nuclear-capable missile tested in the Andaman and Nicobar islands which hit its target with pinpoint accuracy.
● The missile can be fired from land, surface and air which enhances the nuclear triad for India's armed forces.
● A misfired missile was landed in Pakistan due to technical malfunction.
● A deal worth $374mn was signed between India and Philippines for Make-in-India BrahMos missiles.
